The weekend backpack getaway was fantastic.  I have to learn how to pack lighter, the 8 mile trip felt much further. We saw some small wildlife, lots of lakes, even a cloud of falling of aspen leaves. But best of all was the sun-snow showers, really a sight to see. We set up camp at nearly 11,000 feet and woke up to 4″ of new snow, the first of the year. I love hiking in Colorado!

When you live surrounded by the beauty of the forest it feels like you are camping every day. We used to camp many times a year, now we camp mostly, at home. Our fire place, wood stoves and real fire-pit remind us of the smoke basted flavor of outdoor camping while sparing us the mosquito bites. We are truly blessed.

With the fall colors our in full-glory I will again try my hand at back country camping and photography. What a way to Making A Living On Vacation! I will post some photos, as available.

I am sure to enjoy the wonders of this fine life, as I get to fish one of several pristine mountain lakes in complete solitude. I will think of you work-a-holics as I cook fresh trout over an open fire.

This reminds me of some great get-aways I saw on the search engine. I was thinking the fresh flavors of the Baja of California. Beaches, Beer and well more beer! I love that place!

Boy I can see it happening, what an opportunity!

My goals are to have my mortgage paid for by this business in six months and start taking 6 vacations a year! And from all accounts this is the company to do it with. They even have mortgage payment allowances and car payment allowances (some guys apply it to their very own commuter planes) this World Ventures company takes good care of you. I will definitely let you know what my experiences are as I climb the ladder.

Question: Can you see yourself taking four or more vacations a year?

How about twelve or more??! Any comments?

I got my registration emails today much to my delight. First thing I do is look for some vacation deals to drool over. Well I found them, lots of them. Now I have to work my tail off to afford the time to enjoy these awesome deals.

Have you been to any of these places? Where would you go first? There are some expensive ones (Africa) that I left out because I have to work up to my new vacation lifestyle.

Hi My name is Kevin, this is my Travel Business blog.

And, with this first post, I officially have my very own “travel entrepreneur ” blog to document my efforts over my entire new business venture, hopefully, on a daily basis.

So please stop in regularly to see where I have been and where I am going next.

Well I did it. I ventured in with both feet!

After I went to the introduction seminar by World Ventures I was impressed, but really no more than I was before. This idea of earned travel, great pay and frankly the entire program has me intrigued, and entirely charged. So charged, I came home last Friday night and bought this domain and a couple others for my new travel business. I am on a roll now!

While I have no practical travel experience, I think I have a working business plan, full of goals and even a dream or two. Only time will tell how prepared I really am for what is ahead.

I welcome you to follow along as I make my move towards the kind of life I have always wanted.
